By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms. Please read them carefully.
This terms and conditions govern the agreement between you and us. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you should not use nikah.lk services and should not proceed to register at nikah.lk. By using the nikah.lk matrimonial service you are agreeing to be bound by this Agreement, including all modifications made to this terms and conditions and privacy policies. You should look at the terms and conditions regularly. We will post notice of any changes to these terms on this page. Additional terms will be available with the relevant services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those services. We will post notice of altered additional terms in the applicable services. If there is a conflict between these terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will apply. If you do not agree to the altered terms for a service, you should discontinue to use that service. If there is a failure to comply with these terms, and no action has been immediately taken against you by us, our rights have not been waived and we may take an action in the future. If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, other terms will not be affected by this.
Using our Nikah.lk Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights (IPR) in our Services or the content you access. You may not use content from our services unless you obtain written permission from its owner. These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used in our services. Don’t remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.
Nikah.lk privacy policies explain how Nikah.lk handles your personal data and protects your privacy when you use our Services. By using our Nikah.lk services, you agree that Nikah.lk can use such data in accordance with our privacy policies.
Your right to use the services is subject to any limitations, conditions and restrictions established by nikah.lk, at our sole discretion. We grant access to view other user's profile based on the duration of the existing profile's validity. We may also impose limits on certain features and aspects of the Service or restrict your access.
Nikah.lk services are for above 18 years old.
You agree to use the nikah.lk services in accordance with the following; failure to do say may terminate your account without notice.
a. You will keep all your credentials safely.
b. The information you received from other users should not be shared with anyone without the permission of the user.
c. You should not use the nikah.lk service to engage in any form of harassment or offensive behavior, including but not limited to the posting of communications, pictures, videos or audio recordings which contain defamatory or offensive statements, or racist, pornographic, indecent, or offensive language or images/videos;
d. You will not use nikah.lk to promote your products or services, or a third party’s products or services via our email service nor will you use the service as a marketing tool.
e. You should not use the services to infringe the privacy rights or any other rights of any person;
f. You should not post false profile information, pictures or use the service in any way which
i. is fraudulent or otherwise unlawful or violates any law.
ii. is deliberately inaccurate, misleading users.
g. You should not use the nikah.lk services to transmit or upload any virus, Trojan or do anything else that might be harmful to the nikah.lk services, or hack nikah.lk and or other user’s information.
h. You should not demonstrate any aggressive behavior while communicating with nikah.lk users or with any of nikah.lk customer care agent / technical support agent.
i. We do not verify the submitted information of profile(s) of the user account. This is the sole responsible of the user account holder who communicates with other profile’s user account holders.
Please refer updated fees and promotions under package section of this website. A profile will be given features that was published to offer at the time of payment. Features added after the time of payment or after the activation of the profile, may or may not be added to the profile at the sole discretion of the Nikah.lk management.
Renewals of the profile follow the same as initial activation, any new added feature updated at the time of renewal will be applied to the profile.
Renewals of the profile can be done before the expiry period, if the sms or initial communication limit has been exhausted.
Profiles will be activated upon payment. Communication with other profiles will be available to all activated profiles, until the expiry of the profile. Upon the expiration of the profile, the profile cannot send or receive any communications with other profiles. An expired profile cannot be viewed by other profiles.
When a profile attains “ I found my life partner ” status, communications to and from other users will be ceased. The profile cannot revert back from the “ I found my life partner ” status. Until expiration, the profile will be displayed with the note “ I found my life partner “ to other users.
A profile image that meets our guidelines will be approved. If an image does not meet the guidelines, the user of the profile will get a notification via email to update the image, this will not affect the profile activation.
A profile picture can be updated any number of times as per the user’s discretion. Changes to the profile image will be manually approved by us each time.
profile pictures guidelines:
Male: Show face without any distraction ( wearing glasses and any other materials ).
Female : Show only the face covering the ears and hair as much as possible.
Best Picture Size upload: 200pixels X 200pixels ( resolution 72 ).
All payments to nikah.lk services are non refundable.
Registered accounts will not be removed from our system. You can deactivate your account and enable at a later time using the reactivate page from this site. Upon deactivation of the account you will no longer receive any electronic communications from the site (email or SMS) and neither can other members view your submitted (paid profiles) bride / groom profile(s) information. Deactivation / Reactivation may be done by logging in to our system. Maximum Deactivation limit is three. After this limit your account will be permanently locked down and cannot be reactivated at all.
The above terms are subject to change and would be notified to you at the time.
